The 3B8 Coordinators for the Sprint World Wide Award, Ashwin 3B8GL and Ujo 3B8HL, are inviting 3B8 resident Hams to participate in this event. The event period is from 30th June 2025 to 6th July 2025. The special callsign 3B8WWA had already been authorised by the ICTA (see this link). The modes of operation for this event are SSB CW DIGI. The 3B8 Hams (resident only) who wish to participate as activators of 3B8WWA are invited to confirm by contacting the MARS Secretary with their name, callsign and contact number by latest 10th June 2025. A WhatsApp Group will be created after the 10/06/25 for the instructions to follow.

The ICT Authority has no objection that the call sign 3B8WWA be used for this Radio Amateur event in which the Mauritius Amateur Radio Society is participating with the following condition:
- The call sign 3B8WWA is for the sole purpose of Radio Amateur event World Wide Award.
- A duly licensed Radio Amateur shall perform in strict compliance with the terms and conditions set out in his/her radio amateur licence.
