Tuesday 1st April 2025, Jean Marc 3B8DU animated a contact with Lycée Francois Cevert of Ecully (suburb of Lyon), France over the QO-100 satellite facility. He was assisted by Veronique 3B8BAU in the shack. This event was organised by a team of the Radio-club de Lyon and lead by René F6AUE with the participation of Patrice 3B8FA, Patrick FR5FC (Reunion Island). Future planned joint 3B8 and FR cooperation for such school events are likely. Hopefully this type of QSO event will motivate students in STEM and attract them to become radio amateurs.
