The 6M band so-called magic band can really surprise us on occasions. The magic happened for Patrice 3B8FA when he managed to work four new countries on FT8 mode. He had an amazing start on Thursday 10 October at 16:45UTC with the reception of TR8CA then 9X2AW followed by the Caribbean stations then Costa Rica, Brazil and Guatemala came in. This amazing propagation remained open for about one and a half hours.
Patrice 3B8FA had a memorable QSO with Fred PR7XB who was actually in contact with him from a restaurant using a tablet ! This was recorded as the first ever 3B8 to Brazil contact on the 6M band, extract below or click on this link for full table. Indeed that is magic.
