Sad news received this evening 17 November 2023 our dear 3B8CF Jacky Mandary has passed away. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Jacky’s family and friends. The funeral of Seewoosankar Mandary (Jacky) will take place on 18.11.23, the funeral cortege will leave the family residence in Candos at 15:00hrs to proceed to Allee Brillant Castel cremation centre.
Jacky 3B8CF was a prominent member of MARS. Jacky was the source of the revival and registration of MARS and held several posts and roles throughout the years. Jacky’s contribution was instrumental in keeping the Mauritius Amateur Radio Society alive. He inspired many in amateur radio and his presence will be missed.
