Today, 4 July 2023 Jean Marc 3B8DU was honoured by the visit of Onur (TA8RM) and his XYL at his QTH (see PICs). Onur is a board member of TRAC (Turkish HAM association). Also view the TRAC website on this news.
Aziz, the president of TRAC informed us that, quote “Onur is among our senior members and has hugely contributed to our commitment after the devastating earthquakes of February in TA”. A good example that HAMs are always ready to help with crisis relief. Today Onur shared with us his experience of providing communication by installing a repeater and also providing talkies to humanitarian organisations for the coordination of crisis operations.
We also received a nice TRAC flag and PINS. Our thanks to Aziz and Onur for the nice presents and souvenirs.
Today, during our group exchanges we also discussed with Aziz about seeking ways to exchange experiences and collaboration between 3B8 and TA.
The group had a nice day and it was a great honour for us to meet-up with our guests and have this exchange of experiences.
