Dear All,
The year 2021 was quite rich in 3B8 activities, such as Class A licence examination now possible and the first one will be held in 2022, satellite activities growing with many active OM’s, MIR-SAT 1 deployment in space (the first Mauritian satellite is a HAM one officially recognized by AMSAT and named as MO-112), schools and SWL receiving and decoding MIR-SAT 1 (and other satellites) telemetry, international Awards issued by MARS, repeater network working well and link to FR also, social gatherings at the seaside or at OM’s QTH, DX-pedition by our regular visitors, etc.. In a nutshell it is really great and with the support of all we can surely improve things in 2022.
On behalf of the MARS Management team and on a personal note I wish you and families a Merry X-mas and happy year 2022.
For sure year 2022 will be even better for the HAM community at large.
All the best, 73
Jean Marc (3B8DU)
