Following the AGM of 20 September 2018 Mr Clive Woodlock, 3B8CW was nominated as President of MARS.
It is with much regret that Mr. Woodlock has tendered his resignation as President of MARS for personal reasons. However, he will continue to be an active MARS member and will continue to handle regulatory matters locally with ICTA and internationally with IARU and other overseas organisations.
As provided by section 5:5 of MARS constitution, the MARS managing committee has nominated Mr. Daniel Julien 3B8GJ, a corporate member, who had been the MARS Vice President for many years in the past, as the new President. Mr. Daniel Julien has gladly accepted the offer made to him by the MARS Managing committee.
I invite all of you to welcome Mr. Julien in his new function and I am sure you will help him carry out the new responsibilities entrusted to him with success.
