The Mauritius Amateur Radio Society, founded in 1968, is the national representative organisation for amateur radio enthusiasts. Membership is open to all who have an interest in amateur radio telecommunications.

The Mauritius Amateur Radio Society (MARS) is a membership-focused organisation made-up of Corporate Members and Associate Members. The Society is legally registered with the Mauritius Registrar and holds annual general meetings. The governing body comprises of elected members for the posts of President, Secretary and Treasurer. MARS is a member of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Region 1.
